The Romance Writers of Southern Connecticut and Lower New York (CoLoNY) is a local chapter of Romance Writers of America, an international organization of almost 10,000 members. Founded and incorporated in 2001, CoLoNY is a not for profit organization of writers — published and unpublished — dedicated to learning and sharing the craft of writing, understanding writing as a creative business, providing information about the publishing industry, and supporting our members through each step of their creative journey. Several of our members are published in various genres: romance, mystery, historical, paranormal, and even non-fiction. CoLoNY provides benefits to members at all stages of their careers.
Non-members are welcome to attend our public workshops to learn more about our diverse and friendly organization.
